About Us
Founded in 1997 by Jan and Richard Hrabec, Crazyweed continues to operate as a family owned and cared for restaurant.
For over 2 decades, we have strived to be purveyors of the finest and most delicious local Food and Drink in the Canadian Rockies. Let us eat and drink and have a good time together!

During a moment of heated debate regarding our name, we turned to the Audubon Book of Mountain Wildflowers for help, opened it up, and there was Crazyweed. Perfect! It encapsulated our intention – convivial, eclectic, fun, the refusal to be pinned down, and the heartfelt desire to bring something new and irrefutably delicious to the table.
